I just had the juciest...

Orange in my whole life! Holy Cow! So, today, we had the final walk-through for our house. Just to verify the condition of the house, and make sure everything looked good. It did! I'm so excited! Wednesday {hopefully} will be the day. The house will be OURS! Anyways, while we were there, our new neighbor, an older gentleman who lives down the road, brought us a housewarming gift: a giant bag of oranges and avocados. :) Can you believe that?

I decided I MUST try one of the oranges tonight. Boy was it juicy! And so delicious! I don't think I could go back to having store bought oranges after that!

Anyways, after we got one last look at the house {which, by the way, is still full of vintage furniture :) That's so cool! Some of the stuff is gone, but I look forward to exploring and looking at all the things that Lucy collected over the years. She saved EVERYTHING!} we went to the Montrose Harvest Market.

I've never been to one, and it was sort of like a fair or carnival, without the rides. Lots of booths with good food and crafts.
We ended up eating lunch there: I had a handmade Mexican Gordita, and Matt had a burrito. Very good! Here's Matt enjoying the burrito :)

After lunch we bought some fresh fruits and veggies: very ripe and yummy strawberries, lettuce, carrots, and potatoes. We also picked up some delicious bbq sauce and some honey made by a hive right down the road from us. All in all, it was an awesome time. I look forward to going more often. I wish we could have gotten more, but with it all so fresh, I didn't want any of it to go to waste before we leave for Matt's wedding in Logan, UT on Thursday. We will be bringing some of the oranges and strawberries, if there are any left! :)
Well, it's almost time for bed.
Later,
Pam
