Right now I feel really guilty. I have only ridden (is that the right word?) my bike 11.5 miles this week. I rode on Tuesday, but I can't ride on Monday or Wednesday, because I don't have enough time. And Thursday rolled around, and I felt really ill this morning and actually missed my first class (not missing much, trust me). But I was able to go to my afternoon class. I still don't feel 100%, but I'm a little better. I had to drive the truck, again, though. That's why I feel so guilty. I've been driving that thing more this week than I have in several weeks. And it's such a gas hog that I can't stand it. I love my truck, don't get me wrong, but I feel guilty driving it so much. *sigh* What can I do? I can't help being sick, I suppose. I guess Kate's kids have been sick for a while, but I haven't even SEEN them since the 4th, so I don't think we have the same thing. I'm just hoping I can keep it together tonight. I have a 3 page paper to write (haven't started. Such a procrastinator!) and a test to study for.
Oh, guess what! Guess what! I'm doing something crazy tomorrow! I'm cutting my hair! Short! It is ridiculously long, and I have wanted to cut it all summer. Matt finally gave me the go-ahead. So Nancy, Kate's friend (She did my hair for my wedding, and she did a spectacular job), is going to cut it. I'm going to donate it to Locks of Love. Or that is the plan, anyways. I'll be sure to post pictures. I'm nervous, but extremely excited, as well.
Ok, off to homework. Matt's cooking dinner, which is a rare treat for me. So I can focus on my schoolwork. I'm glad we finally heard from Mom. I was getting worried. :)
Pam, I'm so jealous about your hair. I always want to grow mine out, but can't get it past the top of the shoulder blade stage. Maybe I just need curly hair :)
ReplyDeleteNO need to feel guilty about driving the truck... This weather is HORRIBLE, and you are sick.. you'll make up for it eventually.
ReplyDeleteYou're hair is going to make a little girl very very happy! :) Can't wait to see pictures!
