Has anyone heard from Mom lately? It seems like it has been a long time since she's sent out an email. Maybe I'm just not getting them.
So, yesterday I rode my bike to school, and I was getting ready to ride home. The clouds looked pretty ominous, but the wind was going to be at my back, and I thought I could maybe make it home before it got too bad. But Matt called and said he was picking me up. He was a little worried about the storm. I still think I could have made it, but I'm glad he came anyways. I was still sore from the 35 miler that we rode on Sunday. It gave me almost an extra hour at home yesterday. Which is always nice. Did I take advantage of the extra time and get house work done? Homework? Nope. I played games on Facebook. I keep playing Scramble, Word Twist, and Path Words. But my new found guilty pleasure is Sudoku. Matt and I were playing against each other. I beat him by 3 points.
Ok, well, let me go get ready for school. I'm driving today, which I hate, but I'll get over it. I just don't have enough time to ride. And today is supposed to be one of the hottest days in the year. *sigh* I suppose I'll stay in the A/C. I need to make a lunch.
Ummm, I MAY be mistaken, but I think I've seen that Mom has looked at my blog recently. =) I have this nifty widget on my blog called FEEDJIT, and it lets me see locations of who visited my blog.... But yeah, I miss Mom's emails!!!!!
ReplyDeletemarie--how recently has mom looked at your blog? i wrote her about me having a girl, and i haven't gotton a response! hummm....
ReplyDeleteOk, so I took Marie's lead and I'm am tracking who looks at my blog. It's not an exact science, b/c it only tells what city or country they are from. But it should be interesting, huh. :) We'll see what happens.
ReplyDeleteKate, It was roughly a day or so ago.... I think she's just REALLY busy.... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteAnd Pam, I decided that I wanted to be "first" to hit your new spy-on-the-spyer's type blog =) (did that make any sense at all??)
Ok, enough about mom, I think we all got her email, at least I did and I know you all did because my email is all full up!!! That's what happens when you come from a large family. So anyway, Pam, I can totally sympathize about the bike ride. I decided that instead of getting all frustrated at my boys, I would take them for a bike ride to the park so that they could play. Good idea, right? NOPE! I only picked the hottest day so far in Idaho, we were up in the 90's and it just so happened to have a nice little head wind, and with a heavy bike (my is about 10 years old) and towing at least 60 pounds behind me, well, lets just say that I was winded, and I only went about 6 miles round trip. So Pam, here's to you with being able to ride all those miles every day. By the way, are you planning on pulling a little trailer behind you with all your stuff? I suggest that you at least pull something once a week so that you can get a feel for it now if that is what you are going to do. Just some friendly advice from someone who is a wimp at bike riding!!!
