You Won't Believe It

OK, maybe you will. But two days ago Matt and I bought our first pairs of riding shorts....yes, padded butt riding shorts. Mine are spandex, there's no way around it. But Matt reassures me that I don't look bad. Maybe I really am losing weight.

And boy those shorts are comfortable :)

Jill shot down my theory yesterday. She has O+ blood. Darn. Oh, well, even with the best theories, there's always something. Right?

Oh, and I promised Jill I would blog about this, so I will...

I was talking to Jill yesterday, and we were having a good conversation. She told me about a neighbor who expressed disbelief that Jhericko liked to eat eggs. (!) She said "My people don't eat eggs." Well, Jill got to thinking about it, and realized that her mother-in-law always makes bacon and eggs in the morning for her and Demarko, and she eats them too. I said, well there goes that theory. Jill said, well, you know, Demarko's great grandmother was Cherokee. And I think in their language Cherokee means "egg eater." Ha ha. I couldn't stop laughing. She almost finished telling me that before she started laughing too. Jill has got to be my funniest sister. I think she should be a stand up comedienne. :)

Anyways, I guess I better get ready for school. I can't wait for this semester to be over. I think in my one week off, I'm going to crochet a quilt. And maybe this time it will be rectangular instead of mostly triangular.

  1. Yes, Jill is the funny sister. Well, we are all funny, but some are silently funny and she is one of them. Well, maybe we are just funny looking...
by the way, you look great in the shorts. Way to go and keep it up!

  2. You are looking great, Pam. Wish I could be on my bike riding with you. Beth and I were having fun riding on the trail to Ross Park before I left for my Mission. But I just don't think that I am up to riding across country. That would be some experience. Maybe if we could stop at night in a nice Motel! Mom

  3. Thanks, Mom, and by the time we ride across, maybe you'll be settled down somewhere and we can swing by and visit. Maybe you could ride with us a little ways. Wouldn't that be fun?
